These days, Scammers not only demand money from your relatives and acquaintances by copying your internet media profile, but they can also send false messages in your name. Facebook account

Scammers can gain lot of information about you through your public Facebook postings and photo posts. These may include details of your date of birth, hometown, company, high school, etc. When you are posting something new on Facebook, make sure that only your friends and family can see it. The same applies to other internet media profiles, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.

You can do this by going to the Settings tab of Facebook and then going to the Privacy tab ‘Who can see your future post’, it would be better to select ‘Friends’ here. In this way, you can limit who can see your post. Apart from this, you can use the guard with the profile photo. For this, after opening the Facebook app, go to your profile photo, and press it for a while then under this you will find the option ‘Turn on profile picture Gaurd’ Click on it and save it. Instagram account-

If you have not made your account private on Instagram, then everyone can see your profile and posts. If you have made the account public, then after tapping on it you will have to open the private account. After making the account private, the posts will neither be visible in search nor on the hashtag page. This is how you can secure the account from scammers.

Twitter account

If you have an account on Twitter, then by default everyone can see your profile and tweets. This may be visible to those people also who have not signed in to Twitter. If you want that your profile is not visible to everyone then you will have to change the settings.

First of all, open the twitter in a web browser. Then go to Settings and Privacy, after this, you will have to click on the ‘Privacy Paid Safety’ option. Below the Tweet section, you will find the option to ‘Protect Your Tweets’. If you want to keep your account safe, then turn on ‘Protect Your Tweets’. After this, tweets can be seen only by your followers. If someone wants to follow you, then he will need constant approval. Your tweet will not even appear in search engines. Your tweet will be visible only in follower search. On the Privacy & Security page, you also get the option to disable location and photo tagging as well as you can also turn off the messages sent by any other user. Even if you have made the tweet private, you cannot hide the entire profile. The banner image, profile image, name, username, location, etc will be visible. However, you can customize the visibility by going to the edit profile app.
